The freshman from Richmond, Va., was killed in her French class shortly after calling to tell her mother that she was fine. "Rachael was curious, an avid learner, a competitive student and athlete," says Linda Kennedy, her history teacher at Grove Avenue Christian School. "Rachael was a leader, someone who inspired those around her."
