JARRETT LEE LANE, 22

Lane was a senior civil engineering major who hailed from Narrows, Va. As the valedictorian of Narrows High School, Lane was an accomplished athlete – running track and playing football and basketball – and also played the trombone. His brother-in-law Daniel Farrell called him "full of spirit," adding, "he had a caring heart and was a friend to everyone he met."
