The 411: She's a classically trained opera singer who says her parents' divorce 10 years ago inspired her. "It sounds horrible, but I thank my parents for splitting," says the 19-year-old, who grew up in New Jersey and the Dominican Republic. "I became a songwriter out of that." But her album isn't sad opera music – her first single is a sassy dance track.
