Teri Hatcher kicks off the Children's Place Shoe Drive by donating 500 pairs of shoes Saturday at the Santa Monica Pier. Hatcher isn't the only charitable minded member of her family. Of daughter Emerson, the Desperate Housewives star told PEOPLE, "When she knew I was doing this she went up to her room and got a big Hefty bag full of her shoes."
