Ryan Seacrest, who was overweight as a teen, told PEOPLE that he relies on protein-rich fish to stay fueled – and fit. "At American Idol live shows, I have a massive plate of raw fish brought over before I go on the air," the host says. Pachella advises eating salmon, sardines or mackerel – but if you're not into fish, try tilapia, which has a mild flavor, or take Omega-3 fish oil supplements.
