HEATH FOUND DEAD

Buzz was already growing around Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Night when the 28-year-old Oscar nominee and dad is found dead at his residence in Manhattan on Jan. 22. New York City's chief medical examiner later finds that Ledger died from "acute intoxication," after accidentally overdosing on a combination of prescription drugs.
