The late, great actress didn't get her break on AMC, but she did prank her good friend Carol Burnett during a live 1983 episode, surprising the comedienne and costar Eileen Herlie in a "scrubwoman's outfit" – an ode to a character Burnett played on The Carol Burnett Show. Never breaking character, a stunned Burnett (as troublemaker Verla Grubbs) quips, "I think that woman's pilot light is out."
