1. FACING CANCER
In March of 2005, Puerto Rican actress and TV host Adamari López held a press conference to announce she's is getting treatment for stage 1 breast cancer but is expected to recover. Her boyfriend of two years, Latin Grammy winner Luis Fonsi, also from Puerto Rico, canceled tour plans to be by her side. Adamari underwent a partial mastectomy.
