Once one of Hollywood's highest paid actors, Cage found himself bankrupt and owing $6.3 million in back taxes in 2009, blaming his business manager for lining his own pockets and "sending Cage down a path toward financial ruin," according to court documents. His manager, however, countersued, alleging that the actor had blown his fortune on lavish things like vintage cars, 15 homes (including two castles) and four yachts (never mind a dinosaur skull, pyramid-shaped tomb and a Bahamian island). The lawsuits have since been settled, and Cage, who remains an in-demand actor, has sold off many of his properties.
