After spending years being typecast as the handsome bad boy, Patrick Swayze proved his talent – and earned a proper breakthrough role – with the release of the surprise summer smash Ghost. "Ghost was about living your life for the moment, because that's all you've got," he told PEOPLE. "If you don't communicate with the people you love, you set yourself up for incredible pain if you lose them."
