Alias costars Michael Vartan and Jennifer Garner seem to be real-life partners in crime. Both are wearing glasses, normally a hindrance to eye contact, but "he's looking directly into her eyes and she is very much looking straight back and smiling a broad, genuine smile." His thumb on her neck is "a lover's gesture," Cox notes. "Everything about this couple says 'happy.' "
