Diesel's first experience playing ex-convict Riddick in 2000's Pitch Black (a role he reprises in Chronicles) was more painful than sexy. "They put prototype (contact) lenses with a reflective vibe onto my eyes," he says. "A few hours later I'm in the hospital because they can't get them out."
