Without a doubt, Beyoncé was the golden girl of the 2004 Grammys. Along with taking home five statues (including best female R&B vocal performance for Dangerously in Love), she stole the show on the red carpet in chartreuse silk and onstage in a hot pink minidress. ALICIA & ASHANTI: GLAM

Did designer Roberto Cavalli have extra fabric in peach tones? It seems so – he dressed Alicia Keys and Ashanti in different versions of the same colors and textures. Keys (left) wore sexy capris and a flowing two-toned bustier, while Ashanti (a best female R&B vocal performance and R&B album nominee) donned a glamorous crisscross halter gown.
