WORST SPORTSMANSHIP
The goodwill soured at the Olympics as jeers delayed the 200-meter men's race for about five minutes Aug. 26. Spectators booed as the sprinters emerged – minus the Greek favorite, Konstantinos Kenteris, who missed a drug test. But the Americans weren't fazed: Shawn Crawford, Bernard Williams and Justin Gatlin (bottom right) swept gold, silver and bronze. The scene came just days after protesting fans held up a high-bar competition for 10 minutes and led to a scoring change for Russian Alexei Nemov (bottom left) – who still didn't medal.
