MOST SATISFYING WIN
The Sopranos finally walked away with its biggest hit Sept. 19, taking the Emmy for outstanding drama series after having lost four times before. The Mob drama's Drea de Matteo (who promised, "I'll thank you later. I'm going off now to have 10 drinks") and Michael Imperioli netted trophies for supporting actress and actor. HBO counted comedy wins for its Sex and the City ladies Sarah Jessica Parker (lead actress) and Cynthia Nixon (supporting actress) as well, but FOX's Arrested Development got the last laugh: outstanding comedy series.
