Cat Stevens, 56, says he was "totally shocked" after U.S. officials who found his name on a no-fly list diverted his London-to-Washington flight to Bangor, Maine, on Sept. 21 and deported the '70s folk singer (now known as Yusuf Islam). Islam, a Muslim British citizen who calls himself a "man of peace," is demanding an inquiry into why the U.S. Homeland Security Department associates the "Wild World" singer with "activities that could be potentially linked to terrorism." "It is simply outrageous," he says.
