Even the frequent flier miles couldn't save this love. New Yorker Katie Couric and L.A.-based boyfriend Tom Werner called it quits after a four-year bicoastal romance. The Today show host began dating the multimillionaire TV producer (The Cosby Show) in the summer of 2000. But a source told PEOPLE the "distance had become untenable" for the "cerebral" couple.
