HOTTEST SMALL-SCREEN ROMANCES
Even life off-screen is a soap opera for the young stars of The O.C. First, rumor had it that Adam Brody, 24, and Rachel Bilson, 23, were engaged. But the couple confirmed to PEOPLE that it's not true, sending relief to jealous Brody fans who had barraged fan sites with a collective "No!." Then, Benjamin McKenzie, 26, was spotted kissing Everwood's Emily VanCamp, 18, in Hollywood on Oct. 25. But his publicist says, "They're just friends."
