MOST OVERDUE WIN

Road warrior Kenny Chesney (left) took home the big haul Nov. 9 at the Country Music Association Awards, winning his first trophies after 12 years in the business for album of the year (When the Sun Goes Down), entertainer of the year and a producing credit. Chesney, 36, beat out half of country's first couple, Tim McGraw (right, with wife Faith Hill), for the entertainer award, but McGraw still took song and single of the year for "Live Like You Were Dying," dedicated to his late dad, baseball's Tug McGraw.
