Williams hit the Broadway stage as Nubian princess Aida in the Elton John-Tim Rice musical of the same name in November 2003. The singer (at a curtain call a month into her run) admitted to having butterflies about being accepted on the Great White Way: "I kinda gotta put all that behind me," she told MTV. "I'm here for a reason."
