For her role in the Bridget Jones sequel, Zellweger gained almost 30 lbs. by increasing her dietary intake to 4,000 calories a day (with a little help from eggs Benedict, fish-and-chips and other treats) and not exercising. It took her three months to gain the weight (left, in London in 2003), which she has since taken off (right, in Toronto last year).
