2. HUNT FOR SHELLS ON SULLIVAN'S ISLAND BEACH

Located an easy 30-minute drive from downtown Charleston, Sullivan's Island has beautiful, wide beaches and a laid-back vibe – lots of locals were walking dogs and riding bikes on the morning of our visit. Before heading back, we refueled with frogmore chowder and wood-fired oven pizza at The Obstinate Daughter a few blocks away.
