Book of 'Love'
McCarthy spills the beans about love, romance and sex in her latest book, Love, Lust and Faking It. While promoting her newest work, she breaks her silence about her relationship with Carey, telling PEOPLE, "There were broken hearts on both sides."
Kiss & Tell
After meeting on a blind date, McCarthy begins dating Boston-based sports agent Paul Krepelka – whom she publicly kisses at midnight while co-hosting New Year's Rockin' Eve. "Everyone thought, 'Oh my god. She kissed a random dude,'" McCarthy says. "But no," adding that she's "really happy."

Playing the Field
After playing coy on the new man in her life, McCarthy steps out with Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher at a Generation Rescue autism charity event. "I can confirm that yes it's true, we are dating," she says. But after three months, the pair call it quits. "Brian and I have decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship," she tells PEOPLE. "I will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!"
Bare Necessities
Before turning the big 4-0, McCarthy appears in her seventh nude pictorial for Playboy. The host of NBC's Love in the Wild tells PEOPLE she doesn't have any regrets when it comes to baring it all. "It's probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you'd see of people with their clothes on," the 39-year-old says of her pictorial.
