Clarkson reveals that she's happily in love with Brandon Blackstock – the son of her manager Narvel Blackstock and the stepson of Reba McEntire. Though she jokingly admits her newfound romance is ruining her angst-ridden writing process, the singer admits that he inspires her to stay in shape. "We both love music so we go to shows together," Clarkson says. "I am just more active with him."
The American Idol champ returns to reality television in Duets, a singing competition featuring celebrity musicians in search of the best performing partners. "The simple fact that I get to go out and find two people I believe in, sing with them every week and help them accomplish their dream is an amazing thing I can't wait to be a part of," Clarkson says about her new gig.
Clarkson, 30, has plenty to sing about when her boyfriend of a year Brandon Blackstock pops the question just before the holidays with a yellow-canary diamond ring. "I wanted y'all to know!!" she tells her Twitter followers. "Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever."
The singer takes home her third Grammy Award with a win for best pop vocal album. "I didn't know I was gonna win because I literally – I was so excited to be in a category," Clarkson says during her acceptance speech, adding of her fellow nominee, "Miguel? I don't know the hell you are but we need to sing together."
After revealing plans to elope, Clarkson and Blackstock do just that, secretly tying the knot at Tennessee's Blackberry Farm. "I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock," the singer Tweets a day after, calling her wedding venue "the most beautiful place ever!"
