Lady Gaga is anything but another cookie-cutter blonde pop princess. Known for her infectious beats, oddball fashions and an unpredictable attitude, Gaga is a feisty addition to the music scene wrapped in a glittery bow-tied package.

Before burning up the charts with hits from her debut album The Fame, Stefani "Gaga" Germanotta was a college dropout who performed in Manhattan burlesque clubs and wrote songs for Britney Spears and New Kids on the Block. But thanks to a growing list of mega-hits (from "Just Dance" and "Bad Romance" to "Born This Way") and countless risk-taking ensembles, the out-of-this-world disco queen earned five Grammy Awards. Along the way, Gaga has also lent her famous face to a good cause, starting the Born This Way Foundation to prevent bullying and provide a safe environment for her fans, dubbed the Little Monsters.
