Two months before announcing they were ending their almost-eight-year marriage on Oct. 15, Guy Ritchie threw a 50th birthday bash for Madonna at London club Volstead on Aug. 16. In spite of rumored marital tension, they made an equally happy duo at Ritchie's 40th birthday party a month later.
