Birth Place
Nashua, N.H.
When Mandy Moore first came onto the music scene, she was just another blonde, bubblegum pop tart trying to keep up with frontrunner Britney Spears. But, the determined sweetheart eventually surprised fans and critics with a lasting career in film rather than music.

After releasing radio-friendly hits like "Candy," Moore switched her focus to acting, proving she could carry a film as a brunette pastor's daughter in the tear-jerker, A Walk to Remember. She has since starred alongside Diane Keaton in Because I Said So and John Krasinski in License to Wed.

In March 2009, after a long string of boyfriends (including tennis pro Andy Roddick and actors Wilmer Valderrama and Zach Braff), Moore quietly married rocker Ryan Adams. News of their separation broke in early 2015.
