John Mayer has a new album – and a new look to match.The singer-songwriter brings back his longer locks in the video for "Shadow Days," the lead single off Born and Raised, out in May.
Channeling a Neil Young vibe – hat included – Mayer road-trips out West in the clip, stopping at motels and diners along the way.
The Grammy-winning guitarist, 34, was recently sidelined by the regrowth of a throat granuloma, despite successful surgery last October.
"Because of this, I have no choice but to take an indefinite break from live performing," he blogged in March, canceling his spring tour.
"I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the love and kindness you've shown me over the last week."
