"That's all a farce," Glanville said of the rumor that's caught traction over the last several days. "She wouldn't do it. They didn't offer it. She squashed it on Twitter. My people would never do that to me. It wouldn't happen."
Glanville and Rimes have clashed publicly since 2009 when the country star had an affair with Glanville's then-husband, Eddie Cibrian – whom Rimes later married and is now living happily ever after.
The Housewives star also slams her ex-husband in her new book, Drinking and Tweeting. On Friday, Glanville was at LAVO Las Vegas celebrating the fact that her book made The New York Times bestseller list.
"I'm pinching myself every day," she told PEOPLE.
Though the negativity surrounding Cibrian and Rimes's relationship has been well documented, Glanville said it's still an ongoing struggle to shield it from the two children – Mason, now 9, and Jake, 5 – she had with Cibrian.
"As they get older there are more questions," she said. "As they get older they're going to think I'm a rockstar because I'm so strong for them. When they look back they'll be like, 'Man, I didn't realize all that was going on.' "
