Jaden Smith, the young rapper son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, certainly seems enamored with Kylie Jenner, the half-sister of Kim Kardashian – saying in a new interview that they're the best of friends, even as others believe they may be something more.
"I was in L.A., we were all hanging out," Smith, 14, tells Britain's Wonderland Magazine. "Then I went to New York and she came too, and then she came here [to London] and surprised me, so that's pretty baller."
He adds: "She's one of my best friends. It's pretty awesome."
Indeed, the Karate Kid star was photographed last month with Jenner, 15, after a lunch date at a Caffè Nero restaurant in London, where he was performing as one of Justin Bieber's opening acts.
Smith has been quiet on whether he and Jenner are a couple, but hints that people might find some answers in his music.
"It's really like a journey into my life – if you listen and pay attention to the lyrics," he says. "People like to hear honest things, and that's what really makes an artist."
Smith's other big obsession lately? Aliens. He even got a chance to discuss the topic with a certain national security expert on a recent trip to the White House.
"I talked to President Obama about extraterrestrials," he says. "He said he could neither confirm nor deny the existence of aliens, which means they're real. If people think we're the only people that live in this universe, then something is wrong with them."
