Splash star Nicole Eggert is the latest celebrity to sustain an injury while participating in the reality diving competition, but appeared upbeat on her Twitter in the days that followed.
"Thnx 4 all the love," she Tweeted, confirming that she saw a doctor Thursday after a dive she performed at Wednesday's taping of Splash. "Just have swelling and bruising on my back and kidneys."
The former Baywatch star knocked down reports that the accident was more serious. The 41-year-old reportedly attempted a dive with multiple backflips but crashed into the water, back first.
Last month, Eggert was minorly hurt while attempting a handstand into a dive. It "scared the crap out of me," she told PEOPLE.
The ABC diving show has featured a series of dramas and mishaps, starting with Chuy Bravo leaving the series after fracturing his foot. Then Kendra Wilkinson quit the show after being unwilling to continue and Rory Bushfield ruptured an ear drum in a practice dive.
Most recently, beauty queen Katherine Webb left the competition due to injury.
