3. QUESTIONABLE KIDNAPPING

In June 2010, Jeremy alleges that he was involved in a bizarre kidnapping, approached by a group of men in Palm Springs, Calif., and forced to drive around for 12 hours purchasing alcohol and using drugs. Though he swears the incident was real, his mother and brother make public statements doubting the events. Jeremy then files a restraining order against them, only to have it denied by a judge. In March 2011, however, one of Jeremy's kidnappers pleads guilty to the charges in court, and the actor tells PEOPLE he "feels vindicated."
