When Patricia and Richard Logan agreed to foster a blind 11-year-old girl with cerebral palsy 22 years ago, it was an easy decision.
"We got really attached to Michelle," says Patricia, 60, of Warren, Mich. "I wanted to give her the best life she could ever have."
It went so well that not only did they adopt her, they later adopted four more children with cerebral palsy.
"Everyone needs a loving home," says Patricia, who worked at a nursing home before deciding to care for their special-needs children full time.
"If I had a bigger home I would adopt even more," she says.

Some holiday traditions are too important to not do yourself – and when it comes to picking out a Christmas tree, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux don't put on airs.
The glamorous pair ventured out of their sprawling Bel Air mansion to personally pick out a tree – in this case a 10-ft. Noble Fir from Mr. Greentrees in Beverly Hills that Theroux paid for.
"Jen picks her own Christmas tree every year," says a witness. "It's a tradition for her. She's very specific about the tree that she wants. "
At the tree lot, "Jen was in a great mood and took her time to pick out the perfect tree," says the witness. "Justin helped her and she found a beautiful one."

Detectives arrested a teenager Thursday accused of stealing some wreckage from the Porsche that Fast & Furious star Paul Walker was in when he died in a crash, and a second suspect was planning to turn himself in, authorities said.
The theft occurred as the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT was being towed from the accident scene Saturday night, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.
The investigation led detectives to Jameson Witty, 18, who was arrested at his home in Los Angeles and was being held on $20,000 bail, the Sheriff's Department said in a statement. A second suspect, a 25-year-old man whose name has not been released, was outside California and arranging to surrender, the statement said.

It's more formal than their adorable save-the-date card. But Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's official wedding invitation still captures the spirit and personality of the fun-loving couple.
The invite, shared exclusively with PEOPLE, has "the LOWEdown" on "marrying, eating, boogie-ing," and goes on: "Together with their families, Sean Thomas Lowe will marry his best friend, Catherine Ligaya Mejia Giudici, who completely adores him."
The invitation, designed by Smitten on Paper, includes an RSVP card for recipients to declare whether they "can't wait" or have "something more important to attend than celebrating the union of Sean & Catherine."

It's hard enough for The X Factor judges to say goodbye to one of their contestants during an elimination show, but on Thursday night Demi Lovato was devastated when her two remaining team members – Ellona Santiago and Rion Paige – were eliminated.
"I'm actually pretty speechless and disappointed," said an upset Lovato after learning that Santiago, 17, would be the first contestant going home. "She could've won this competition."
Lovato wasn't the only one who was shaken by Santiago's elimination. Fellow judge Kelly Rowland looked surprised, with her eyes and mouth opening wide and her hand placed on her heart as she stared at Santiago in disbelief.
Host Mario Lopez's voice also softened as he said it was "a real shock here on the stage and in the audience."

There was a standing ovation followed by a stunned hush in the London movie theater where Prince William, his wife, Kate, and a roomful of VIPs had just finished watching the film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
The group was shocked when they learned that the subject of the movie, Nelson Mandela, had died.
"We were delivered the news as the credits rolled," Tweeted The Mail on Sunday's royal correspondent Katie Nicholl. "Silence here in the cinema where the royal couple have just watched Mandela. RIP."

NBC's Sound of Music Live!, starring country star and American Idol winner Carrie Underwood as trilling, hill-hiking governess Maria von Trapp, was like a snow globe with scarcely any flakes.
You could turn it upside down and shake it, really shake it, but no magic ever swirled around that plastic Alpine scene.
I can't imagine it supplanting the 1965 movie, with Julie Andrews singing of warm woolen mittens and larks learning to pray in a voice so purely crystalline it can induce brain freeze.
