It's Official: Rachel Hunter's Wedding Is Off

There will be no wedding bells for Rachel Hunter. The supermodel and her hockey player fiancé Jarret Stoll have called off their wedding, PEOPLE has learned.
"Can Associates Limited regret to inform you that the August wedding of Rachel Hunter and Jarret Stoll has been cancelled and the couple have decided to split," Hunter's rep says in a statement. "We ask you to respect Rachel and her family's privacy during this extremely upsetting time."

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Split

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have called it quits, reps for each confirm to PEOPLE.
"They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another," Minnillo's rep tells PEOPLE of the couple, who began dating in 2006.
The split comes after a rash of breakup rumors and reports, which were shot down. Earlier this month Minnillo told PEOPLE that she and Lachey were "very much still on."
A source says Minnillo, 28, and Lachey, 35, are "still friends. It was the right thing for both of them to do."

Actor Bradley Whitford and wife Jane Kaczmarek filed divorce papers Friday in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has confirmed.
"He hopes the media will respect their wish for privacy as they focus on their children," says a rep for Whitford.
The former West Wing star and Malcolm in the Middle mom were married in August 1992, and have three children, Frances Genevieve, 12, George Edward, 9, and Mary Louisa, 6.

Billy Joel and His Wife Split

Billy Joel and his wife, Katie Lee, are calling it quits, PEOPLE confirms.
"After nearly five years of marriage Billy Joel & Katie Lee Joel have decided to separate. This decision is a result of much thoughtful consideration. Billy & Katie remain caring friends with admiration and respect for each other," says a statement issued by both of their reps.
For months, the couple has dodged reports of trouble in the marriage. Joel, 60, married Katie, 27, in a sunset wedding on September 2004 at his 15-acre waterfront Center Island estate in Long Island. Katie is a chef and former host of Bravo's Top Chef.

It's over for Paris Hilton and boyfriend Doug Reinhardt of The Hills, PEOPLE has confirmed.
"In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true they are no longer together. They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy," a rep for Hilton says.
Hilton, 28, and Reinhardt, 24, had been together for six months. Reinhardt's rep had no immediate comment.

Mel Gibson's Divorce Financial Records to Be Sealed

To keep their divorce as private as possible, Mel Gibson and his wife have agreed to keep their financial records under seal, court documents show.
The agreement – signed off by the former couple, their lawyers and a judge – states that depositions, tax records, and accounting information will be all be kept private. Part of the reason for the sealing is because the ex-couple does not want to jeopardize their assets by revealing business affairs and to protect their 10-year-old son Thomas, reads the document filed June 5 in Los Angeles.

James Van Der Beek and Wife Split Up

James Van Der Beek has split from his wife, actress Heather McComb, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The former Dawson's Creek star and McComb, both 32, separated a couple of months ago but "it was totally amicable and they remain good friends," says his rep.
They got engaged in early 2003 and were married over the Fourth of July weekend that year in Malibu. The two exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony in front of a group of guests that included Van Der Beek's Dawson's Creek costars Michelle Williams, Busy Phillips and pal Soleil Moon Frye.

In recent days, Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston have taken to their separate Twitter pages with messages of woe.
"Tears are words the heart can't express," Cyrus, 16, wrote Sunday night. Gaston, 20, tweeted the next morning, "How many tears are in there? They've gotta run out soon, right?"
On Tuesday, a source confirms the reason behind the tears. "They broke up on Sunday before she left for Savannah" to film her new movie, The Last Song, the source tells PEOPLE.

Lost star Emilie de Ravin and Josh Janowicz are getting a divorce after three years of marriage, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
De Ravin and Janowicz, both 27, dated for four years before they married in June 2006 in Australia and moved to Los Angeles. "Emilie and her husband have filed for divorce," her rep, Jeff Raymond, tells PEOPLE. "They have recently been living separately and remain friends."

Christina Ricci, Fiancé Call Off Engagement

Christina Ricci and her comedian boyfriend Owen Benjamin have ended their engagement, sources tell PEOPLE.
"Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. [Then] the engagement was off," says a source close to the couple.
Another source close to the actress says the pair called off the engagement before last week. "They really are still close," adds the source. "They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They're definitely still friends."
