James Van Der Beek has filed for divorce from his wife of nearly six years, actress Heather Ann McComb, Los Angeles court records show. The couple had no children together.
The pair separated earlier this year.
Van Der Beek, 32, and McComb got engaged in early 2003 and were married over the Fourth of July weekend that year in Malibu.

Estranged Wife: Eddie Cibrian's Cutting Off My Cash

Brandi Glanville says she's unable to buy basic necessities like food and gas because her estranged husband Eddie Cibrian controls her credit card, Los Angeles court papers show.
Glanville, 36, a former model turned full-time mom, is also requesting at least $39,963 in monthly support from Cibrian, who filed for divorce after going public with his relationship with LeAnn Rimes.
Glaville cites $11,942 to cover her mortgage, $4,000 for eating out, $3,000 for clothes, $1,500 for child care, $750 for Pilates and another $750 for massages and facials, among other needs.

Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks may have shown a united front by attending the Country Music Association Awards together on Wednesday, but one night later, Hough confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple has indeed parted ways.
"We're both just really, really busy with our careers, and we spend a lot of time apart from each other – so we're just taking a little break right now," Hough, 21, told PEOPLE Thursday night as she walked the red carpet in Nashville for the premiere of Tim McGraw's film The Blind Side.

Julianne Hough fans who saw her perform at the 22nd annual Pineapple Festival in Jensen Beach, Fla., on Nov. 7 likely had no inkling she and boyfriend Chuck Wicks were on the verge of a split: When Hough came down with the flu, it was Wicks who took her place.
"I talked to her this morning and she sounded like she was on her death bed," he said at the time, according to TCPalm.com. "She tried to hang in there as long as she could."
Added Wicks, 30, who had been planning to visit the Florida Keys with Hough, 21, after the festival, "I'm about the closest person you can get to Julianne. I probably know all of her jokes and can sing all of her songs."

Lindsay Price and Josh Radnor, who began dating in August 2008, have called it quits, PEOPLE has confirmed.
"They aren't together anymore," a source tells PEOPLE of the former Lipstick Jungle actress, 32, and the How I Met Your Mother actor, 35. Adds another source, "It was just time."
The pair met in 2007 when Price appeared on How I Met Your Mother, but they didn't kick off their courtship for another 18 months. "We met up a year-and-a-half later in New York," Price told PEOPLE in June. "We went to have dinner near the Bowery. It went really well."

Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks have decided to call it quits, a source tells PEOPLE. "This was mutual. They needed some time apart," says the source.
Hough, 21, and Wicks, 30, both are still expected to attend the Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday – Wicks is covering the red carpet for Entertainment Tonight and Hough is a presenter.
The two walked the red carpet together for the first time at last year's CMA Awards after getting to know each other while touring with Brad Paisley. Within weeks, they already had marriage on the mind, with Hough telling PEOPLE they "definitely" wanted to go to the altar someday.

When it comes to marriage, Shaquille O'Neal has thrown a brick.
Wife Va'shaundya has filed for legal separation in Los Angeles from the 37-year-old basketball star, court papers show.
In papers filed Monday, Va'shaundya O'Neal cites irreconcilable differences for the break in their seven-year marriage, and is seeking sole custody of their four minor children, ages 3 to 9, with visitation for O'Neal.

Usher's Divorce Finalized

Usher is officially a single man.
The Superior Court in Fulton County, Georgia, issued a final decree Wednesday in the R&B singer's divorce case, legally ending his two-year marriage to Tameka Foster Raymond, the Associated Press reports.
Usher, 31, filed for divorce in June, claiming the marriage was "irretrievably broken" with "no reasonable hope of reconciliation." The couple have two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond. –Mike Fleeman

Source Confirms Adam Lambert Split with Boyfriend

It's official: American Idol's Adam Lambert is back on the market.
The singer, 26, who officially came out in June, split with his longtime boyfriend Drake LaBry about a week ago.
"It was mainly because Adam's life is so hectic," a friend of Lambert's tells PEOPLE. "He needs to focus on his career right now."
