Jennifer Lopez: I Spend Every Free Moment with the Babies

Jennifer Lopez is famous for her multitasking career as a singer, actress, designer and dancer. But motherhood has taken her juggling act to a whole new level.

Until recently, Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, who welcomed twins Max and Emme in February, didn't have a nanny to help out with child care.

"I did it for a long time but we started using a nanny a few weeks ago," says Lopez, 39. "[Most days] I get up early with them. Then when the nanny comes, I can take a shower and give them their breakfast. She's there to help me get things done."

As for getting back to work, Lopez says she'll take it a day at a time. "It's gonna be a learning experience. How will I do both? I try to take breaks from work," she tells PEOPLE. "I'll do a little work with the choreographers and then come back. I try to spend every free moment with the babies."

Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony Reveal Baby Names

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's newborn twins are named Max and Emme, Lopez's manager Simon Fields officially confirms to PEOPLE.

The new parents welcomed their son and daughter on Feb. 22. Emme was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and Max followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.

Already gifts have been pouring in for the twins, including pillows and baby carriers from Baby K'tan in Fort Lauderdale with their names embroidered on them, a source tells PEOPLE.

The twins are the first children for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39.

Leah Remini, J.Lo's Sister Visit the Hospital

New parents Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have received well-wishes from friends and family – including a personal visit from actress Leah Remini, who arrived Friday afternoon at the maternity ward where Lopez gave birth to twins.

Remini, a longtime friend of Lopez who has called the singer "a born mom," was spotted on Friday afternoon at the hospital in Long Island, N.Y. Earlier in the day Lopez's sister, Lynda, was also seen heading into the maternity ward, where Lopez and husband Marc Anthony welcomed a boy and a girl early Friday morning.

From one new mom to another – congrats! Salma Hayek had a few brief words for Jennifer Lopez on the red carpet of Thursday night's de Grisogono Hollywood Domino game launch at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Asked by reporters if she had any words of wisdom for Lopez, who earlier in the night gave birth to twins, Hayek replied, "I'm sure she'll be a wonderful mom."
