When Princess Diana danced with John Travolta at a 1985 White House dinner, the world was awestruck.

Now one very lucky Englishwoman gets to have all that glamor to herself. An anonymous bidder purchased the midnight-blue velvet Victor Edelstein evening gown – the one that prompted Travolta to call Diana "the most beautiful woman in the room" – for more than $362,000 Tuesday at London's Kerry Taylor Auctions.

Part of the "Fit for a Princess" lot, "It sold to a British gentleman as a surprise to cheer up his wife," said auctioneer Kerry Taylor in a statement. And while the late Princess would divorce Prince Charles 11 years after that magical moment, the dress's new owner just made a grand bid for romance.

A former Royal Caribbean cruise room attendant accuses John Travolta in a federal lawsuit of stripping off a robe and pushing against him, then offering him $12,000 to keep quiet.

Fabian Zanzi alleges the actor said, "Take me, I will take care of you, please," during a food delivery to his cabin in June 2009, according to the U.S. District Court lawsuit filed June 21 in Los Angeles.

Zanzi, who first made these allegations to the Spanish-language news outlet 24 Horas, is seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery and emotional distress.

This is the latest legal action against Travolta filed by a man alleging improper sexual conduct. Travolta's attorney has fiercely denied all the allegations.
