There were tears – the groom's! – when The Bachelor's Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on Sunday.
Lowe's father Jay officiated the ceremony and called their romance "an epic fairytale on display for the whole world to see."
In fact, he did most of the talking at the altar but Sean and Catherine said the most important words: "I do."
The nuptials – watched by millions on a live TV special on ABC – were a happy ending for the couple who met on the reality show and got engaged in Thailand in November of 2012.

It's not every day that a couple gets married in front of millions of people, so you could forgive The Bachelor's Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici for being a little nervous. But the pair, who will tie the knot live on ABC Sunday, couldn't be more zen about the big day.
"The only thing I can compare it to is the morning of a big game in college," jokes Lowe, 30. "But this is so much bigger than that! I don't think I've ever been more anxious and excited for anything."
"The soon-to-be newlyweds, who have been public about the fact that they are waiting to have sex until marriage, will not see each other until Giudici, 27, walks down the aisle – they haven't texted or talked since after Saturday night's rehearsal dinner.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something ... pooch?
Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's Sunday wedding has officially gone to the dogs.
Well, at least their groom's cake, which will honor the Bachelor star's two canine pals, a boxer named Lola and a chocolate lab named Ellie, ABC News reports.
While their main wedding cake will be traditional, Lowe's groom's cake, a tradition at many Southern weddings, will be an exact replica of his two best friends, created by Charm City Cakes of Los Angeles.
"Our dogs are so important to us," Lowe, 30, said. "They're the loves of my life."

Juan Pablo Galavis, former pro soccer player, single father and star of this season's The Bachelor, is blogging for PEOPLE.com each week about the ladies, the dates and the difficult decisions he faces. This week he also addresses his controversial comments about the idea of a gay Bachelor. Since those remarks, Galavis has apologized and agreed to meet with GLAAD members as well as LGBT Latinos and their families. You can also follow Juan on Twitter @JuanPaGalavis.
It was a little hard to start writing after all that has happened during the past few days. I thank you for coming and reading my blog ...
My apology was not enough, so I guess time and my actions will let people know who I really am and my thoughts about how much I respect gay people.
On the show, at least, this was my favorite week.

Juan Pablo Galavis has issued an apology following his commentary about the idea of a gay Bachelor.
At a TCAs party on Friday, Galavis said that a gay version of The Bachelor would be a bad example for children.
"I respect [gay people], but honestly I don't think it's a good example for kids to watch that on TV," Galavis – a single dad to 4-year-old daughter Camila – told Sean Daly from The TV Page.
On Saturday, he issued a statement on his Facebook page to clarify the remarks.

Atlanta dog lover Kelly Travis is trying to find more than puppy love with Juan Pablo Galavis on The Bachelor. But the first two weeks of competition were sometimes ruff.
During a press call on Thursday, Travis, 27, recounted how her first date required her to don a bald cap and body paint to look like the calendar shoot's ugly mutt, and how the ex-soccer pro peeped her sans makeup when he arrived unexpectedly early to fix the ladies breakfast.
She also explained why she wants to be this man's best friend first, which ladies are barking up the wrong tree, and just how much Victoria's drunken bark bites.
