5. Guess Who Officiated Vanessa Carlton's Wedding! As Carlton tied the knot with fellow musician John McCauley Friday evening, there was a very special (and famous!) guest in attendance: Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks, who married the newlyweds. Their nuptials come just two months after Carlton was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy and forced to undergo emergency surgery.
See her wedding dress.

If so, you're going through Twilight withdrawal. For the first time in five years, there is no new Twilight film debuting just in time for the holidays. That's right, the first Twilight, which introduced us to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the word "spider monkey" as a term of endearment, premiered five years ago on November 21, 2008.
Much has happened in the half a decade since, including the rise and fall of Robsten's off-screen romance, and the adaptation of The Hunger Games novels, effectively changing the debate from Edward vs. Jacob to Peeta vs. Gale. Which is why there's no better time than now to pay tribute to the sparkliest of all vampires in the now vampire-laden pop culture universe (Jonathan Rhys Meyers, you're so 2000-and-late). Here are the top takeaways we made from The Twilight Saga:

In our most shameless fantasies, we're playing Spin the Bottle with the hottest pairs of lips in Hollywood.
This will never actually happen, but we're okay with it because we kind of already know who's a good kisser – at least on camera.
See which costars kiss and tell, from Josh Hutcherson's game-changing smooch to Kirsten Dunst's less-sexy encounter with Brad Pitt.

Don't jump to conclusions when it comes to Robert Pattinson's dating life. Although he spent time with Kristen Stewart less than a week ago, it appears that he may still be romancing model Dylan Penn.
The two were spotted getting cozy at the Spare Room in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Wednesday night to celebrate Angie Banicki's travel memoir, 30 Before 30: Traveling Under the Influence.
"The two chatted and flirted inside," an onlooker told PEOPLE. "They were a little cautious, making sure people noticed they did not come together."

British model Liberty Ross learned that her husband of 10 years, director Rupert Sanders, was cheating on her with his Snow White and the Huntsman star, Kristen Stewart, only 20 hours before paparazzi photos of Sanders and Stewart hugging and kissing were published in a magazine.
"It was horrible," Ross tells Vanity Fair. "It was really the worst, really the worst."
Stepping in to protect his sister was Ross's brother, Atticus Ross, the Oscar-winning composer of The Social Network.

It's been two years since Twilight star Nikki Reed and American Idol alum Paul McDonald tied the knot, and on Oct. 16, the couple celebrated their anniversary with a date night full of pampering.
"We kept it low key this year," Reed told PEOPLE at the Unlikely Heroes Award dinner and gala Saturday night. "So we went to a midnight spa session. It's amazing. This place called Voda Spa on Santa Monica. We did a couples thing."
Reed, who also performed on stage with her husband at the event to raise awareness against human trafficking, says she's learned a lot about marriage over the past two years.

The Twilight saga may have put Robert Pattinson on the map, but not all of Hollywood is looking for that type of attention.
Following the announcement that the Sons of Anarchy actor exited Fifty Shades of Grey on Saturday, a source tells PEOPLE it wasn't all because of his "immersive TV schedule," which Universal Pictures and Focus Features blamed for his departure.
"He dropped out of the project because he didn't want to be typecast," the source says. "He didn't want the Robert Pattinson-esque attention that would come along with taking on this role."
