Here's a little behind-the-scenes Dancing with the Stars scoop to start off the recap: I understand our stars learned as early as Friday when they would be dancing during "My Jam Monday."
So, for example, Prince Farming Chris Soules knew before the weekend that he'd get to kick off tonight's show while Lady Marmalade herself (a.k.a. Patti LaBelle ) was rewarded the last dance of the evening well in advance of tonight's performance.
Now put the shoe on the other foot: What could be more disheartening than knowing that you aren't strong enough to open or close the night – and realizing how your middle-of-the-show positioning brings you closer to the ol' heave-ho?
So, which dancers proved they might be worthy of prime placement next week? And what about the contestants whose so-so performance last week put them at risk of elimination? Read on for the night's highlights and to see who came close to leaving DWTS first.

It looks like Shark Tank star Robert Herjavec and his Dancing With The Stars pro partner Kym Johnson may have taken their chemistry off the dance floor.
At a March 16 afterparty for the season premiere at Hyde Kitchen + Cocktails in L.A., the DWTS duo were spotted "canoodling," according to an onlooker.
"They came in holding hands and were caressing each other's backs," says the source
The pair, who arrived together, "were having a good time and enjoying each others company," a second source tells PEOPLE.

It's a good thing that former Bachelor Chris Soules has no problem juggling more than one woman.
As he competes on Dancing with the Stars with pro Witney Carson, fiancée Whitney Bischoff is living with Soules in Los Angeles – and it seems like she's made friends with her namesake.

Late one night last July, shortly after Robert Herjavec and his wife filed for separation, the star of the ABC hit reality show Shark Tank stood on a balcony of his Toronto hotel room and contemplated jumping.

Actor and best-selling author Suzanne Somers, best known for her role as Chrissy Snow on Three's Company, has been paired with pro Tony Dovolani for season 20 of Dancing with the Stars. She'll be blogging for PEOPLE about her experience on the hit ABC show.
For the first time in 25 years, we introduced a brand-new ThighMaster, called the ThighMaster Vibrato. It vibrates! One of the producers came up with the idea of choreographing my first number around the ThighMaster. I believe it was the producers who chose "Physical." Perfect!
The ThighMaster is a big part of my exercise routine. I use it for my upper body workout, as well, and I always have one when I travel. Charities I support auction off autographed ThighMasters (that I have used), so I have likely owned 100 or more.

It was a big night in the ballroom – and not just because John McClane and GI Jane were in the house! Monday's installment of Dancing with the Stars kicked off the first of what the network promised would include lots of action-packed tributes to the show's 10th anniversary.
The premiere episode didn't disappoint. There were lots of contemporary tunes ("Uptown Funk," "Take Me to Church"), plenty of showstopping choreography (Derek Hough, so glad you stuck around this season!) and even quadruple hanky moments (welcome to the ballroom, Army vet and amputee Noah Galloway!).
No 9s or 10s were awarded just yet, but a couple of celebrities sure came close to earning some high scores. Here's how the new contenders fared on night one:

Hell hasn't frozen over – that's really Bruce Willis in the front row of Dancing with the Stars!
The 59-year-old action star joined his ex-wife Demi Moore, 52, to support their daughter Rumer on the opening night of Dancing with the Stars.
And they didn't come alone! Willis brought his wife Emma while Moore brought along her daughters Scout, 23, and Tallulah, 21. The family assembled to watch Rumer, 26, and her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy do the foxtrot on the first night of the show's 10th anniversary.

After he popped the question in November, former Bachelor Chris Soules and his fiancée, Whitney Bischoff, are still going strong.
Of course, the fact that the happy couple can now be seen together in public has likely bolstered their relationship over the past week following the big Bachelor reveal.

Certainly not Suzanne Somers, one of the 12 celebrities who will participate in the 20th season of Dancing with the Stars. PEOPLE has learned that Somers, 68, will incorporate the exercise tool that she made famous in the '90s into her opening night performance.
The plan is to somehow feature the device that's supposed to exercise the hip adductors into her cha cha with partner Tony Dovolani. They'll do it while dancing to Olivia Newton-John's "Physical."
In this video, Somers – who will also blog exclusively for PEOPLE this season – demonstrates to her partner how to properly utilize the device.
"I happen to be an expert in this," Somers tells Dovolani. "I think we are going to have a lot of fun."
