After having three children, Jennie Garth worked hard to get her body into cover-girl shape, losing 30 pounds to sizzle in a bikini.
But, she says, she's fine with a little Easter chocolate indulgence – or even the occasional cupcake.
"Maintenance is definitely challenging. It's something you have to do daily," Garth said during a Lindt-sponsored charity auction in New York, benefitting Autism Speaks.

Is it a makeover ... or a breakover?
According to Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth's recent body makeover may have gotten a boost from good old-fashioned heartbreak.
"You spend a little time in Heartbreak Hotel, that's what happens. Heartbreak Hotel diet is a good one," Priestley joked with PEOPLE at the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) convention in Miami on Monday, where he is promoting the new season of his comedy Call Me Fitz.

It appears Jennie Garth has found a man with positive energy.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, 40 – who recently said that's the quality she now seeks in a partner – is dating musician Jeremy Salken, a source tells PEOPLE.
Garth and Salken, 31, the drummer for electronic group Big Gigantic, met in October and spent New Year's together.
Garth, who last March split from longtime husband Peter Facinelli, has been linked to several men since her breakup, including real estate agent Jason Clark and photographer Noah Abrams.

When it comes to her current love life, Jennie Garth has a new mantra.
"I'm learning to date again," the actress, who split from husband Peter Facinelli in March 2012, tells Health in its January issue, "[and] looks aren't important to me anymore. ... I like positive energy."
The actress, who dropped 30 lbs. last year, plans to keep her health a priority in 2013.
"Every day, I just renew my healthy choices," she says. "I feel really good about myself now, and I don't want to do anything to change that."

Jennie Garth is moving on, and so is her ex, Peter Facinelli, but that doesn't mean it's easy.
"I think there will come a time when it won't sting so bad," she told PEOPLE at the Ebay Toy Box Pop-Up Shop in New York City on Thursday. "But I'm not quite there yet."
Garth added about her ex, who is dating actress Jaimie Alexander: "You know, I am happy that he is happy, though."
As for her own love life, Garth says, "I'm dating one guy right now," adding with a laugh, "One is enough, right?" (She declined to name her beau, however.)

Peter Facinelli's friendship with Jaimie Alexander has blossomed into romance. Something Alexander says has her feeling good if not a little scared.
"We've been friends forever and had a lot of mutual friends and we reconnected in the middle of the year," Alexander told PEOPLE Thursday night at the Tommy Hilfiger and GQ "Men of New York" event at Hilfiger's 5th Avenue flagship in New York. "It was one of those things where I'd been single for a very long time and he was going through a lot. We sort of bonded."
Facinelli, who split with Jennie Garth in March, and Alexander met on the set of Loosies, which Facinelli co-wrote, and went on to work together on Nurse Jackie.

Jennie Garth isn't the only one who has has moved on since her March split from Peter Facinelli.
In new photos posted on Celebuzz, Facinelli, 38, is seen holding hands with actress Jaimie Alexander, 28, who has appeared on his show Nurse Jackie.
The pair were snapped on Thursday at N.Y.C.'s Penny Farthing having a dinner date. That same evening, they attended The Cinema Society screening of his film Breaking Dawn: Part 2.
"She came to the screening a little earlier than him," a source tells PEOPLE. "He arrived with the cast and they took a photo with Ashley Greene. They seemed like they were in a really great mood. She stayed near him at the screening."

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli reunited on Saturday – to support their daughter.
Eight months after announcing plans to split in March following 11 years of marriage, the former couple cheered on their 6-year-old daughter Fiona at a Sherman Oaks, Calif., soccer game.
Facinelli, 38, and a 30-lbs. slimmer (and single) Garth, 40, were joined by their daughters Luca, 15, and Lola, 9 (not pictured).

Jennie Garth is taking it slow when it comes to dating. That may be, in part, because she's a bit conflicted about the kind of men she's attracted to.
"I only like guys that are not nice," the recently divorced Beverly Hills, 90210 actress admitted, somewhat sheepishly, on Friday's The Jeff Probst Show.
She knows, deep down, that's not a good thing.
"What is wrong with us girls?" says Garth, 40. "It's not like I want somebody to treat me badly. I want somebody who looks like they could treat me badly, but then really treats me good."

Garth, 40 – who divorced Peter Facinelli in March – is also still seeing photographer Noah Abrams.
"She is focusing on herself, work and the kids," the Garth insider says. "And dating."
