The ripple effect of the shocking molestation scandal embroiling 19 Kids and Counting continues this week as more high-profile advertisers stated their intention to distance themselves from TLC's once dominant reality show.

Companies including Ace Hardware, David's Bridal and Pure Leaf Iced Tea announced on social media that they would no longer advertise on the show in the wake of the news that eldest son Josh Duggar had been investigated for child molestation as a teen.

As the fate of the series remains in question, TLC has temporarily halted all episodes of the show. If it returns, numerous advertisers made it clear they are actively working to pull all ads from the show that has been a tentpole for the cable channel.

The future of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting is on shaky ground following the revelation that a felony investigation was opened in 2006 after Josh Duggar was accused by his victims of molesting five underage girls.

In statements to PEOPLE, the Duggar family indirectly addressed the closed investigation by referring to the multiple incidents listed in the report unearthed by InTouch Weekly as "teenage mistakes."

Michelle and Jim Bob are "devastated" over the leak, a source close to the family tells PEOPLE. "They know that they did the best they could, but it doesn't mean they're not filled with regret."

Mama June Shannon is fighting mad, and she's not backing down.

The reality-TV star, whose show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled last October, said in an interview over the weekend with Extra that she's "mad" over what she sees as unfair treatment by TLC in the wake of the Josh Duggar molestation scandal.

While TLC canceled Honey Boo Boo just hours after a photo surfaced online of Shannon with a convicted child molester, the network has not axed 19 Kids and Counting, choosing instead to pull the show from its schedule following serious revelations about the oldest Duggar son.

Just days after news broke that 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar was allegedly involved in a shocking molestation scandal, TLC pulled the hit reality series from its schedule. Though no permanent decision has been made yet on the fate of the show, the Duggars stand to lose a lot when it comes to the family's profitable brand.

A source close to the series confirms they could lose an estimated $25,000 to $45,000 per episode, but that amount doesn't include any of other sources of income related to their 19 Kids and Counting fame. There were 22 episodes in season 9 of the show, which wrapped up May 19 and there have been 227 episodes total.
