Jimmy Fallon is having some very bad luck this summer.
First, the Tonight Show host, 40, was hospitalized following a serious home accident June 26 in which he tripped and fell, getting his finger caught on the side of a table and almost ripping it off in the process, requiring minor hand surgery.
Then, Fallon chipped his tooth trying to open a tube of scar tissue repair gel for said finger injury.

[YOUTUBE "PZaEFp-hC-s"] Perhaps all those years of brutally honest Project Runway evaluations have gotten the best of her, but Heidi Klum is not a great liar.
On Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show, Klum challenged host Jimmy Fallon in a game called Box of Lies. In it, they opened up mystery boxes containing unusual objects and told their opponent what they saw. The opponent had to then guess whether the contents were being described honestly… or if they were being told an outlandish lie.

Jay Leno served as the host of The Tonight Show for 22 years before stepping down in 2014, but the 65-year-old isn't wallowing in nostalgia. In fact, he's pretty certain he does not miss the late-night life.
"It's different," Leno told PEOPLE of today's landscape. "You live in the time you live in and for my time, it was great."
Though the faces have changed, Leno said at NBC/Universal's TCA Party in Beverly Hills on Wednesday that the good will is the same. Contrary to popular belief, Leno said the comedy scene isn't "some horrible, cutthroat business," he said. "The idea that there's all this stabbing in the back, I mean, it's really not."
In that spirit, Leno shared his candid – and generally affectionate – opinions on some of his most direct peers, including his Tonight Show successor, Jimmy Fallon, his former time slot competitor David Letterman and the ascendant Stephen Colbert.

What's the first word that pops into your head when you hear the word "marshmallow"?
For Kristen Stewart it was "belly."
The American Ultra star was playing Word Blurt with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday's Tonight Show and the object of the game was for each of them to say the first word that came to mind when they saw a random clue.
Stewart seemed a little uncomfortable and admitted, "I'm not good at the whole improv joke thing … even to just say a word … okay, let's just go."

The Ricki and the Flash actress, 66, appeared on The Tonight Show Monday and told host Jimmy Fallon that she managed to snag a 45-minute private guitar lesson with the rock legend – and says it was just as amazing as you would imagine.
"He gave me some advice. You see all the amplifiers and all the wires? What is all this s---?" she recounted. Young then told her to "crank it up to 11."
