How much do we all wish we were just like The Good Wife's Alicia Florrick?
Maybe we should ask Michelle Obama if she feels the same way.
During Tuesday's State of the Union address, the First Lady could be seen wearing what appears to be the same suit worn by Julianna Margulies, who plays the First Lady of Illinois on CBS's hit drama series. An eagle-eyed fan made the connection and posted the comparison shots on Instagram, generating lots of buzz and OMGs on social media.

The Good Wife began as the story of a woman who stood in her husband's shadow – but after five-and-a-half seasons of surprises and shockers, Alicia Florrick and her husband have switched roles.
Alicia (Julianna Margulies) has attended many public events to support her husband Peter (Chris Noth) as district attorney and governor, but now that she is running for district attorney herself, she's the one asking for a show of support.

And in the wake of Shia LaBeouf's apology tour following his very public meltdown, one person involved in the incident hasn't been as vocal: Alan Cumming, the star of the live Broadway show LaBeouf interrupted.
But now comes Cumming's version of events, which ... actually isn't too different from LaBeouf's.

Kalinda's boots were made for walking. And that's just what they'll do.
The Good Wife's Archie Panjabi – the 42-year-old British actress who has played Kalinda Sharma since the drama launched in 2009 – will leave the CBS show at the end of the season.
Panjabi's contract ends in May. She's already lined up a new gig to star in a yet-to-be-determined pilot for 20th Century Fox TV.
"Archie is an amazing actress who helped build Kalinda from the ground up as an enigmatic, powerful, and sexy character," Robert and Michelle King, the drama's creators, said in a statement.

Sunday night marked many firsts on The Good Wife: the start of Taye Diggs's guest arc; the introduction of Gunter, a hairy gentleman prone to bathing in the Florrick, Agos restroom; and the long-anticipated acting debut of Valerie Jarrett, President Barack Obama's senior advisor.
But most notably, The Good Wife somehow staged the most suspenseful bail hearing in TV and movie history. (Take that, Hitchcock!) The episode was also jam-packed with great dialogue.
Let's run through the best lines:

For the new fall season, CBS has gone and found a plausible sister show to pair with Julianna Margulies's The Good Wife.
Here, too, we have a sophisticated, 40-something actress (Téa Leoni) in a situation (the White House) that teems with smart, powerful adults who would humiliate you and reduce you to tears if you ever met them in real life.
The premiere episode of Madam Secretary, for the time being, suggests that the show is very much the little sister in this scenario – but then again, The Good Wife is the rare show that was letter-perfect even in its pilot.

For all you non-watchers of The Good Wife, it must be tiresome to hear critics complain year after year that star Julianna Margulies has been denied an Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her thrilling work as Alicia Florrick.
Well get over your bad self; you're about to hear it again!
No one is more deserving of a chance at the podium than Margulies, and not just because the series was criminally overlooked for outstanding drama series.
