"When I first started interviewing people, like when I had Jeb [Bush] or [Donald] Trump or [Ted] Cruz on, he'd sit on my shoulder, like the devil on my shoulder," Colbert, 51, says in Adweek's Super Bowl issue of his satirical Colbert Report portrayal of a conservative political pundit. "And he would say, 'Let me do this one. I can make every sentence a joke.' I just wouldn't let him out. I went in the opposite direction."
"One of the things that I enjoy about the [The Late Night] is there is no obligation for me to have a sword and shield," Colbert adds. "I'm so happy to lay that thing down by the riverside. So, it was easy for me to tell him to go away."

Emily Blunt isn't a fan of the new and improved John Krasinski.

The actor shed 21 percent of his total body fat over the course of four months – and now has the washboard abs to show for it.

While visiting the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday, the usually laid-back actress talked to Colbert about the thing that frightens her most about the world.
"They released a capsule in space at some time, I don't know when it was, with information if extra-terrestrials find it, you know, 'This is Earth!' " she said. "And that upset me because it's like, it's my address, too, and you just sent it out and you don't know who gonna find it."
