Have Gotham fans already met the character who will become the Joker?
That is the question being raised by an Instagram photo posted by actor Cameron Monaghan, who appeared in a single episode of the series's first season but left an impression with viewers. He had a sinister laugh, a murderous mind and overall manic demeanor.
On Wednesday, Monaghan, who is also a regular on Shameless, posted a photo of himself sporting a very white face and a very Joker-like ear-to-ear grin.

When Suicide Squad hits theaters in 2016, it will mark the first time the DC Comics anti-hero Harley Quinn is realized on the big screen. Margot Robbie is playing the darkly comedic jester character.

Thirty years after starring as Superman's cousin Kara Zor-El in the DC Comics film Supergirl, Helen Slater will appear in the CBS reboot of the movie that made her famous.
"I've been acting forever so there can be patches where it can be very quiet, even though you are still a working actress," she tells PEOPLE. "So I'm very happy about this."

Melissa Benoist is looking fierce and fashionable in the first photo released from Supergirl.
The new Warner Bros. pilot features Benoist (Glee), 26, as Kara Zor-El. She survived the destruction of Krypton and came to earth, but she has hidden the superpowers that she shares with her famous cousin from earthlings.
But now, with her over-the-knee oxblood boots that look as though they could have walked the runway at fashion week, Supergirl is poised to stop some crime and save some lives.
