Parks and Recreation actress Aubrey Plaza wanted all to notice her two eye-catching accessories at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards. They were a cocktail, and the words "#The To Do List" scrawled on her chest in what appeared to be black eyeliner.
Well, everyone did notice. And it got the actress kicked out of the ceremony after she crashed Will Ferrell's acceptance speech for Comedic Genius.

MTV Cancels Buckwild After Shain Gandee's Death

With its West Virginians partying hard and playing harder, Buckwild became a breakout hit for MTV in its first season and was poised to fill the void left by Jersey Shore.
But after the carbon monoxide-poisoning deaths of cast member Shain Gandee and two others while driving their SUV through the mud, MTV has canceled the show.
"We love the cast and the show and this was not an easy decision, but given Shain's tragic passing and essential presence on the show, we felt it was not appropriate to continue without him," MTV says in a statement. "Instead, we are working on a meaningful way to pay tribute to his memory on our air and privately."

Shain Gandee Died of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

As friends and fans mourn the loss of Shain Gandee, authorities say the Buckwild star and two others died due to toxic exhaust fumes filling their stuck-in-the-mud SUV.
The 21-year-old reality TV personality, his uncle and another man who has not officially been identified were found unresponsive in Gandee's Bronco on Monday morning, after being reported missing since early Saturday morning.
"Foul play has been ruled out," Kanawha County Commissioner Kent Carper of West Virginia told PEOPLE on Tuesday.
Autopsies later confirmed the men died of the gas and that the deaths were accidental.

Emma Watson to be Honored by MTV Movie Awards for Her Unique Career

Emma Watson's come a long way since Harry Potter, and now she's being honored for her achievements in acting.
The British actress will receive MTV's second annual Trailblazer Award – which honors the best young actors who are creating their own unique careers in the film industry – during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on April 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Watson, 22, is also nominated for three other MTV Movie Awards for her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower: best female performance, best kiss and best musical moment.

Stars are stepping up to help with relief efforts after Superstorm Sandy ravaged the East Coast.
Lady Gaga announced on her website she would pledge $1 million to New York and American Red Cross for Superstorm Sandy relief.
"If it wasn't for NYC: the Lower East Side, Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn, I would not be the woman or artist that I am today," she wrote. "New York is relentless ambition, a drive to succeed, a place where there is a natural pursuit of diversity through compassion."

Diem Brown: My Many Moods After Egg Retrieval

In her PEOPLE.com blog last week, Diem Brown, the Real World/Road Rules Challenge contestant recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer for the second time, blogged about preparing to undergo fertility procedures with the hope of freezing her eggs before her remaining ovary is removed.
Today, the 30-year-old discusses her feelings before and after the operation.
To be honest, today has been a down day. I feel like this dark cloud looms over me and I am just going through the motions. I'm not sure if it's from all the fertility hormone drugs or because now that my egg retrieval procedure is done, I have to make a huge decision and I'm not sure which way I'm going to go.

Snooki Takes a Tumble in Platform Sandals

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi may be pregnant and sober, but she still couldn't stay upright while going for a stroll in platform sandals on the Jersey shore.
The Snooki & Jwoww star has taken spills before – but that's back when she and her Jersey Shore costars were partying! Now, they are back in Seaside Heights, filming Season 6, but none of her costars were around at the time.
"She's fine. She slipped. I don't know if it was the shoe that was the issue or something on the sidewalk like a bump or something that she tripped over," a source tells PEOPLE. "Sad thing was that the paparazzi all kept snapping their photos and no one went to help her. That's kind of sleazy. If you see any pregnant woman fall you should help them."
Maybe just flats from now on? Not anytime soon, adds the source: "She's feeling good and she loves her footwear. Jessica Simpson wore heels almost to the end."

Diem Brown Is Prepping for Egg Retrieval Surgery

Last week, Diem Brown, the Real World/Road Rules Challenge contestant who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer for the second time, blogged about the fertility procedures she is enduring with the hope of freezing her eggs before her remaining ovary is removed.
Today, the 30-year-old discusses the hormone injections she's endured and her feelings about the egg retrieval surgery scheduled for the end of the week. She also has advice for others in her situation: "If you are interested in egg freezing to preserve your fertility DO IT!" she says. "I'm so thankful for the technologies we have today and I am kicking myself for not doing this egg freezing process years ago."
Yesterday was supposed to be my big surgery date – the day I had to have my last ovary removed and then start chemo. However, I had to move it to a later date so I can complete my hormone shots and be able to remove those lil' eggs!

Diem Brown Reveals She Has Ovarian Cancer Again

When MTV reality star Diem Brown was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at 23, she had to have one ovary, several lymph nodes and part of her fallopian tube removed – but she didn't let that stop her from traveling to Australia to participate in the Real World/Road Rules Challenge one month later.
Now she'll have her strength tested again.
Brown, who founded MedGift, a gift registry for those suffering any illness, was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer yet again.
"Didn't think ovarian cancer could come back," Brown, 30, Tweeted last week. "Please get internal ultrasounds/year."
