Vegas is going country.
The ACM Awards have arrived – and Nashville's biggest stars are kicking up their cowboy boots in Sin City for Sunday night's big show.
Helming the event are hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, but country vets like Garth Brooks and George Strait (taking the stage together for the first time) will rub elbows with newer stars, like The Band Perry and Florida Georgia Line.
Whether you're going to be hitting the strip in Vegas or watching from the comfort of your couch (starting at 8 p.m. ET on CBS), here are the essential songs to make sure you're in the loop.

It's Valentine's Day – and you know what that means.
Your coworkers are all wearing red. (You're in black.)
Your "couple friends" are making Facebook positively nauseating today with multiple "I love you, schmoopie" posts. (You posted a link to a news article on rising divorce rates.)
Cut-outs of a certain flying, fat baby line store windows. (You think it's no coincidence that Cupid rhymes with stupid.)

"All Hail the Chief" isn't the only thing blasting out of White House stereos!
Michelle Obama – who is nominated for a Grammy Award for her spoken-word reading of American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America – is sharing the songs that are in heavy rotation on her iPod. (Psst: she's a fan of Willow Smith.)
Just don't expect her to sing along: As the First Lady tells PEOPLE, "Let's just say my husband is the real singer in the family."

The Summer Games are here – and sure to inspire everyone to embrace their inner Olympian. But before you use the back of your couch as a stand-in pommel horse, why don't you consider a less-dangerous way to be a part of the Olympics?

If you're suffering from Friggatriskaidekaphobia – to the uninitiated, that's a fear of Friday the 13th – fret not. Here's just the solution for your bad luck: a very lucky Spotify playlist.
While Rebecca Black's "Friday" may come to mind, it isn't on Spotify.
Instead, we dug up some fun songs about superstitions ("Knock on Wood," "Black Cat," "That Old Black Magic"), Fridays ("Freaky Friday"), and even the date itself (Johnny Cash's haunting "Thirteen").
This way, those not feeling so "Lucky" – or find the day too "Spooky" – can just listen to "Tomorrow Will Be Kinder" and pray for Saturday to get here as quickly as possible.

Summer's officially here – and nowhere is that clearer than the Northeast, which is suffering under a heatwave. Temperatures skyrocketed to record numbers in New York City – and according to one Baltimore station, the estimated temperature was 775º. (Okay, that was a technical mistake. Blame it on the heat.)
But whether you're sweating in a city or relaxing on a breezy beach, one's thing's for sure: Summer's finally here! Kick it off right with our Summer Solstice playlist on Spotify – and don't forget your SPF.
