Kelly Osbourne, Stella McCartney – and of course, Gwyneth Paltrow – were among the 5,000 fans in London singing their way through Coldplay's first live show since 2006.
"Thanks for coming to see us after such a long time!" lead singer Chris Martin told the crowd Monday, alternately skipping, dancing and twirling around the Brixton Academy stage.
Martin's wife Paltrow stayed hidden from the audience (and photographers). She previously turned up at the band's rehearsal-with-friends-and-family-show at Wembley Arena June 13, where she sang along to every word of the 90-minute performance.

Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls will provide the musical entertainment – and preview their new music – at this year's MTV Movie Awards on June 1, the network has announced.
The British rockers will perform "Violet Hill," the first single from their forthcoming album, Viva La Vida (due June 17), while the Pussycat Dolls will unveil "When I Grow Up." The song is expected to appear on the band's sophomore album, due over the summer.
The MTV Movie Awards will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. Angelina Jolie and Zac Efron are among the stars up for the coveted golden popcorn trophies – while the comedy Superbad leads in total nominations, five. Juno follows with four.
Comedian Mike Myers is onboard to host the annual ceremony.

Okay – so she's a bit biased. But Gwyneth Paltrow says Coldplay's new album is "brilliant."
But beyond that, she was keeping mum at the London premiere of Iron Man, which she attended without husband Chris Martin, the band's frontman.
"Don't tell him I told you that," she told Sky News on the red carpet, wowing the crowds in her lacy dress and sky-high stiletto heels by Alexander McQueen. "I can't talk about it. He gets furious!"

COUNTED: Jamie Foxx's passionate recollection of his late grandmother during his Best Actor acceptance speech for Ray was the Oscar moment most replayed by TiVo digital video recorder customers, the company announced, basing its sample on 10,000 anonymous TiVo households. The second most-popular TiVo moment was Clint Eastwood's Best Picture win for Million Dollar Baby. Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet proved the big TiVo stars of ABC's pre-Oscar show. Blanchett's arrival in a yellow Valentino gown was the most replayed red-carpet moment, followed by Winslet's entrance in a blue Badgley Mischka dress.
