Not only was Stevie Nicks light years ahead of her time promoting the whole ethereal gypsy witch aesthetic (you're welcome, American Horror Story: Coven), but she was doing selfies before they were cool. (To be fair, though, Ringo Starr has her beat.)

Country Witch? Stevie Nicks Debuts New Track 'The Dealer' (VIDEO)

Originally posted 08/06/2014 11:20AM

Stevie Nicks is stepping away from the coven and up to the card table.

At least, that's what her new single, "The Dealer," would have you believe. The lead tune off her forthcoming album, 24 Karat Gold – Songs from the Vault, is a jaunty, piano-based tune with a bit of retro country-kick that conflates gambling imagery and a tale of lost love. (The tune apparently dates back to the late-1970s, Tusk-era Fleetwood Mac.)

"Hey, Hillz! Nice meeting you. Lemme write you a song when you run for president!"

That's basically how Katy Perry followed up her meeting with Hillary Clinton at a book signing last Friday. And Clinton seemed down with it, oddly enough.

Watch Leighton Meester Nail This Cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Dreams'

Originally posted 03/28/2014 10:00AM

We'd heard some rumors that Leighton Meester could sing, and now it appears they're true: In a collaboration with musician Dana Williams, the former Gossip Girl star sings a beautiful, lilting cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams."

In the video, shot in February by Williams's sister Davida, Meester plays guitar and sings backup vocals on a sensitive cover of Mac's 1977 hit, before taking the song's second verse herself.

Stevie Nicks Heading to the Coven on American Horror Story

If you thought American Horror Story: Coven rocked before, well, just wait until Stevie Nicks lands in New Orleans.

The Fleetwood Mac legend will be bringing her own magic – and, presumably, plenty of beads and shawls – to the FX miniseries some time this season in an unknown role, show creator Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter.

Her guest-spot gig is excellent news for fans of the band – as well as star Lily Rabe, whose on-screen alter ego, necromancer Misty Day, is quite spellbound with Nicks.

Fleetwood Mac is canceling planned performances in Australia and New Zealand as bassist John McVie is treated for cancer.

Band members Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham said in a statement Sunday that they're sorry to cancel the 14 show dates and hope "fans everywhere will join us in wishing John and his family all the best."

Band spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg did not specify what type of cancer McVie is treating.

Fleetwood Mac recently finished a European tour. The New Zealand and Australia shows were scheduled through Dec. 7 (Watch them discuss the tour below). The band is also set to perform in Las Vegas on Dec. 30.
