Lance Bass 'Itching' For 'N Sync Reunion
Originally posted 09/10/2008 08:25AM
Hot on the heels of the New Kids On The Block comeback, Lance Bass is sure 'N Sync will reunite – one day.
"We're definitely itching to do some music," the new Dancing with the Stars contestant told Access Hollywood.
Are Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick also game? "We've always discussed it," said Bass. "It's always a possibility and we still owe some records to the record companies."
Still, he admitted, it could take years to get their schedules, well, in sync.
"It's gonna be hard to get Justin to calm down and get off tour," Bass said. "He's a workaholic."

Originally posted 08/13/2004 03:00PM
JUSTIN SOLO: Just last month, 'N Sync members Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone sang the national anthem at a charity event in Miami. But that may be the closest Timberlake gets to reuniting with his old bandmates. Sources tell PEOPLE that Timberlake informed his bandmates that he wasn't interested in being a part of the next 'N Sync album. "Justin said he's not in the mood and doesn't think it will work," says the source. "He doesn't want any part of it." As for the future of 'N Sync, "(The others) are undecided right now," the source adds. "They aren't really talking to (Justin). They haven't taken it so well." A rep for the 'N Sync's label said only that there's no album due from the group this year.

"It's odd to say, you may not believe it, but yeah, we are. Everybody's doing their own thing right now – JC has his CD, (Justin Timberlake is) shooting a movie – but we do want to get together." 'NSync-er Lance Bass concurs. "We're waiting for Justin to finish his movie and then we'll get back to the studio," says the former aspiring cosmonaut. "We'll have a new album by 2005 – at least, that's my opinion."
